Data Analyst - dashboard development (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield River Housing manages affordable housing communities across Detroit. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Investigate trends in resident services and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on waiting lists. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
