Data Analyst - dashboard development (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook Maple Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for warranty claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in warranty claims and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
