Data Analyst - dashboard development (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Amber Pharma and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in clinical studies and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on batch records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
