Data Analyst - dashboard development (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Mill Energy Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Investigate trends in meter readings and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service connections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
