Data Analyst - dashboard development (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Quill Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Des Moines working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 177 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
