Data Analyst - dashboard development (Des Moines, IA)

Northwind Mill Legal Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for billing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on client files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
