Data Analyst - dashboard development (Des Moines, IA)

Rivermark Wren Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Des Moines area. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in group events and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on guest bookings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
