Data Analyst - dashboard development (Dallas, TX)

Fernwood Cedar Hospitality is a hospitality company in Dallas with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. Guests remember kindness. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on reviews and feedback. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
