Data Analyst - dashboard development (Columbus, OH)

Fernwood Rook Staffing Group is a Columbus staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 915 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on candidate screening. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
