Data Analyst - dashboard development (Chicago, IL)

Bluepeak Thistle Early Learning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 737 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meal programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
