Data Analyst - dashboard development (Charlotte, NC)

Cedar Loom Insurance Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 202 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on premium billing.
