Data Analyst - dashboard development (Charlotte, NC)

Northwind Mill Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Charlotte, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
