Data Analyst - dashboard development (Charleston, SC)

Summit Stone Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Charleston, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 366 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
