Data Analyst - dashboard development (Charleston, SC)

Nova Beacon Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Charleston and nearby communities. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 117 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
