Data Analyst - dashboard development (Buffalo, NY)

Bluepeak Fern Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
