Data Analyst - dashboard development (Buffalo, NY)

Amberfield River Community Partners is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in volunteer shifts and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on food distribution. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
