Data Analyst - dashboard development (Buffalo, NY)

Northwind Thistle Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Buffalo, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in batch records and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on release testing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
