Data Analyst - dashboard development (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Mill Environmental Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Boston. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in fleet maintenance and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
