Data Analyst - dashboard development (Boston, MA)

Foxglove Inspection Services is an inspection company in Boston with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in scheduling and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
