Data Analyst - dashboard development (Boise, ID)

Cedar Junction Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Boise. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
