Data Analyst - dashboard development (Birmingham, AL)

Northwind Ivory Banking Services Group provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Birmingham, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
