Data Analyst - dashboard development (Birmingham, AL)

Highbridge Markets is a Birmingham retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 335 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Investigate trends in pricing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions.
