Data Analyst - dashboard development (Birmingham, AL)

Silverline Bright Auto Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on warranty claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
