Data Analyst - dashboard development (Baltimore, MD)

Bluepeak River Staffing places workers with employers around Baltimore. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in client orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on timekeeping. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
