Data Analyst - dashboard development (Baltimore, MD)

Harborlight North Learning Group is an education provider in Baltimore serving students and families, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 717 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on student accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
