Data Analyst - dashboard development (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Union Banking Services and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 101 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
