Data Analyst - dashboard development (Austin, TX)

Harborlight Meridian Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Austin area, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in guest bookings and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on housekeeping schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
