Data Analyst - dashboard development (Austin, TX)

Summit Sable Community Partners is a Austin charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in food distribution and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on client intake. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
