Data Analyst - dashboard development (Anchorage, AK)

Summit Junction Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Anchorage region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of about 396 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
