Data Analyst - dashboard development (Anchorage, AK)

Foxglove Forge Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Anchorage presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our dashboard development. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Investigate trends in exhibitions and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on visitor services. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
