Data Analyst - dashboard development (Albuquerque, NM)

Westbrook Amber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Albuquerque. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Albuquerque. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in underwriting files and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Albuquerque, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
