Data Analyst - customer trends (Wichita, KS)

Amberfield Pike Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Wichita region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in subcontractor invoices and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
