Data Analyst - customer trends (Virginia Beach, VA)

Redstone Loom Housing Group manages affordable housing communities across Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in lease compliance and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on repair requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
