Data Analyst - customer trends (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Staffing and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Investigate trends in retention and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on timekeeping. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
