Data Analyst - customer trends (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Quarry Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Virginia Beach focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in customer tickets and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on service installations. • Python or R for analysis.
