Data Analyst - customer trends (Virginia Beach, VA)

Amberfield Birch Telecom Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Investigate trends in field visits and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on service installations. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
