Data Analyst - customer trends (Virginia Beach, VA)

Clearpath Meridian Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Virginia Beach, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on loads and lanes. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
