Data Analyst - customer trends (Toledo, OH)

Nova Wilder Construction is a Toledo contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
