Data Analyst - customer trends (Tampa, FL)

Westbrook Umber Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Tampa. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on budget submissions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
