Data Analyst - customer trends (Tampa, FL)

Cedar Meadow Manufacturing is a Tampa manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 557 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Investigate trends in tooling and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
