Data Analyst - customer trends (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Birch Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in usage data and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter readings. • Python or R for analysis.
