Data Analyst - customer trends (St. Louis, MO)

Fernwood Forge Energy delivers power and gas plans across the St. Louis region. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 322 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on service connections. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
