Data Analyst - customer trends (Spokane, WA)

Silverline Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Spokane. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in service connections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on usage data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Spokane, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
