Data Analyst - customer trends (Spokane, WA)

Amberfield River Manufacturing is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 182 people based in Spokane. What you will do • Investigate trends in machine downtime and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
