Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Beacon Learning Group is an education provider in San Jose serving students and families, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
