Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

Harborlight Sparrow Arts Center Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in ticketing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
