Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

Amberfield Wren Foods is a San Jose food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in cold storage and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on sanitation schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
