Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

Silverline Ember Manufacturing makes precision components in San Jose, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 145 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Investigate trends in tooling and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
