Data Analyst - customer trends (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Maple Housing Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Investigate trends in maintenance stores and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on waiting lists. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
