Data Analyst - customer trends (San Diego, CA)

Lumen Stone Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around San Diego, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on network equipment. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
